MAMA.
This morning at 6am I sleepily stumbled to my little boys nursery while listening to him babble away with all the little sounds he has been making lately (we get a lot of dada and yaya around here). As I open the door to see him standing in his crib smiling he laid it on me... mama. Clear as day he said it and it was music to my ears. He hasn't said it again and i'm sure he didn't even realize what had spilled out of his mouth, but it was the sweetest word i have ever heard and i can't wait to hear it again. This little boy brings so much joy to my heart everyday. He can make most stressed out, sleepy, and over my head moments better with just a glance of his gummy grin.
Kurt, I love you more than you will ever know but promise to try and show you everyday. Thank you for all the happiness you have brought to my life. I am so lucky to be your mama.
IF AT FIRST.
I've tried this whole blog thing a few times now, for some reason I can never seem to get it together but yet I keep coming back for more. It's been over a year since my last attempt and things have changed greatly around these parts... we were married on October 1, 2010 and welcomed our beautiful baby boy into our lives on October 10, 2011. I hope this becomes a place where gather my thoughts, share my stories, and look back and reflect on all of life's little moments.

IT'S GONNA BE A GOOD YEAR.
i am back...
i know you have heard this from me before, but now its for real...
i have resolutions and stuff to prove it...
i am really, really happy for my first 2011 post... it's mostly because that little date up top says 2011 and for the first time in my life i am very happy that a year is over. I am normally the sentimental sappy type on new years, but i have to say while there was some bright spots...
2010, you really pushed me to my limits, and i am glad to say farewell...
here's to you 2011... I have high hopes for you!
a few things i am looking forward to... resolutions if you will...
1. writing here a little more regularly. i really enjoyed getting to look back on what little i updated here the past year... so in 2011, more to come.
2. moving in. our renovation journey has been a long one and we are in the final stretch... i can't wait!
3. lots of photos. i really enjoy photography and documenting our life through pictures... maybe even a class. who knows?
4. new business. i am really looking forward to starting a new little business once i cross a few more things off my list.
5. old business. website... for real.
6. me. i need a little soul searching and me time to get my life back in order.
so stay tuned, because i have some good stuff planned.

WELCOME FRIENDS.
i really didn't think that people would ever read or be interested in what i had to say here, and therefore i never told anyone about my little blogging adventure...
i just started to write...
then i figured i would add the url to my facebook page and if, by chance, people happened to stumble across it it would be ok...
