A LITTLE TASTE OF PARMA.

on monday i went into the city to take a cooking class with my sister, mom, and aunt sha...

it was soooo good... i pretty much feel like a professional now!

The class was at Rustico Cooking on 39th street. Micol was our teacher (as well as the owner, an accomplished chef and cookbook author)... clearly we were in very good hands. She was a very patient and thorough teacher that encouraged lots of participation. The class had about 20 students many of which were couples and groups of friends and lasted about 2 1/2 hours. We had to duck out a little early to catch a bus so we quickly scarfed down our meal, which was... AMAZING!!!

-OUR MENU-
Homemade Breadsticks
Herbed Riccota Gnocchi with Proscuitto Ribbons and Peas
Filet Mignon with Balsamic Vinegar Herb Glaze
Roasted Asparagus with Pine Nuts and Pancetta
Amaretto Creme Caramel

we plan on recreating our menu sometime soon, when we do i promise to include recipes!
